Florida's State Song in Trouble

Today on the news we found out that the state song may be changed. Florida's State Song is "Swanee River" (click to hear the music). But because of the wording of the song it may be in trouble. One must remember that this song was written in 1851 and there were no political wordings for people. The song uses words like "darkeys". But the state adopted the song in 1935 and has worked for them since. Now on the news few people knew that the state song was, but now the new Governor wants to get it changed.
